I’m a composer of music for places, moments and atmospheres.
I live in Kyoto. Most mornings you’ll find me somewhere quiet in the city with a pair of microphones, listening.
I compose music for contemplation. Burn some incense whilst listening.
I take people on small, slow sound walks through Kyoto — a few hours of listening together, and you leave with a recording of that morning. You can hear one on the site.
I write about Kyoto, music and creativity over on Substack, and more off-the-cuff things here.
Here’s something to listen to while you’re here.
