Notes on keeping an inspiration file
Recently I started keeping an inspiration file on my computer which is just a folder full of inspiring images I find whilst trawling the internet.
It’s a fantastic habit to get into and I find that a folder on my computer is the simplest and cheapest way to keep myself inspired. I’ve tried other ways of doing something like this; mymind or Pinterest also work, but for me, this is the best setup.
Just create a folder on your desktop and save any images as soon as you find them. It’s great to open up once in a while and flick through when you’re in need of a little mood boost or a hit of inspiration.
If you have some kind of cloud storage service it works even better because then you have access to it wherever you are. I use Dropbox but it would work fine without.
